StreetSoldiers Rensselaer is collaborating with Mother Marcena’s Love Doesn’t Hurt at our June 19th event.

StreetSoldiers provides essentials, hygiene products, pantry items, breakfast items, hot breakfast, kids clothing/toys and more to those in need.

We will have our SS event, followed by…
-face painting
-@I_am_Imperati will provide simple fitness challenge for families to do together or independently(almost like a miniature field day)
-“stay active packs” which would include an everyday water bottle, 2 things to stay active(jump rope, frisbee, kite or balls), a fitness worksheet/coloring sheet activity for kids or a fitness sheet for adults with some exercise and healthy ideas, granola bar and their homemade fruit cups.
Mother Marcena’s Love Doesn’t Hurt will have a table set up that will give out homemade bread, cookies and brownies, her business card, a flyer that explains what she does and how she helps children and adults with domestic violence and the free services she provides.
